Rolling Hills Country Club Invests in Disadvantaged Teen Moms
Hope House of Colorado Receives $5,000 from RHCC Foundation
(Denver, Colo.) For the seventh year in a row, the Rolling Hills Country Club Foundation has financially teamed with Hope House of Colorado, a local non-profit organization designed to help at-risk teenage mothers work toward economic and personal self-sufficiency.
The mission of the RHCC Foundation, founded in 1999, is to raise funds for the benefit of worthy causes in the local community. One of a few country clubs in the country that supports local charities in this manner, the foundation has raised over $1 million since its inception.
“We are grateful that Rolling Hills has been a key supporter since 2003,” says Lisa Schlarbaum, Director of Development for Hope House. “It is quite significant to us when a local organization supports our efforts to empower teen moms and their children.”
RHCC also supports Hope House by providing a free round of golf for four as a prize in the Hope House of Colorado Golf Tournament. Colorado Golf Club and Cherry Hills Country Club also provide free rounds of golf for the tournament.
