We have amazing volunteers, and October was a truly stellar month for Hope House with numerous volunteers stepping up to help us in so many ways, from preparing for the Gala to tutoring in our GED Lab to helping us re-arrange our office space.
In fact, our volunteers gave us over 400 hours of help in October — and 73 of those hours were spent tutoring in our GED and Learning Labs… a record high for the year! A group of 30 volunteers put in 120 hours to make our Boutique Night (when our teen moms get to “shop” from an array of donated dresses and accessories for the upcoming Gala), a wonderful success!
In October our volunteers completed a total of 31 different Volunteer Requests for Hope House staff members, making us more efficient as we work to empower teen moms from all over the Denver-metro area.
We trained five new volunteers in October as well. If you would like to become a volunteer at Hope House or just check out the options, click here.
