Did you know that nearly 100% of the teen moms and children we serve live below the poverty line? At times they face choices between groceries and bills… and they often show up at Hope House hungry.
This is why Hope House provides nutritious meals to our teen moms. Whether they are involved in our GED or College & Career Support Programs or our Healthy Relationships or Parenting Classes, our teen moms (and their kids who participate in our Early Learning Program) enjoy a healthy, delicious meal at Hope House.
In fact, we will serve over 4,200 meals to our teen moms and their kids this year, and we could not do this without the amazing support of our community. Numerous individuals as well as businesses come beside us to provide these meals — and we could not be more grateful (a big thank you to Audit Logistics, Chick-Fil-A in Federal Heights, and Kohl’s in Golden for recently committing to bringing meals on a regular basis!).
If you are interested in providing a meal (homemade or take-out!), please contact Jennifer at jennifer@hopehousecolorado.org.
