A huge shout out to CoBiz Financial for honoring and benefiting Hope House at its annual Biz Bash! Always one of the hottest fundraisers in Denver, this year’s event was no exception. Headlined by Kenny Loggins, the 15th annual Biz Bash on April 30 rocked the town.
Over 1,000 people showed up to support CoBiz Financial’s commitment to local non-profit organizations. With an event of this magnitude, CoBiz is able to make a significant contribution to a philanthropy in its own community.
"As a beneficiary of this year’s Biz Bash, we are both honored and excited,” said Lisa Steven, Executive Director of Hope House. "This award will help us purchase two much-needed vans and effectively address transportation issues. Because transportation is one of the biggest barriers to self-sufficiency, this award will be a game changer for us and for the teen moms we work to empower.”
Biz Bash benefits not-for-profit organizations in Colorado that serve children in need. Fifteen years and over $4 million later, Biz Bash continues to put on a unique fundraiser that includes dinner, a hosted bar, a high-end silent auction and an exciting, energetic concert – all to raise much-needed funds for the local community.
“Biz Bash wanted to partner with an organization that had an impact on improving the lives of children. With Hope House, we got a two for one. Not only are we able to help teen mothers, but our support will also directly impact the quality of life for their children. Two generations positively affected – can’t beat that,” said Lyne Andrich, CoBiz Financial CFO.
