Now that we’ve broken ground on our new Resource Center, Hope House is on its way to tripling the number of teen moms and kids we serve every year.
Nearly 300 people attended the celebratory Groundbreaking Ceremony & Pancake Breakfast. The festive day included hard hats and shovels for officials – and the kids, too.
Hope House launched a capital campaign two years ago to raise the funds to build the Resource Center. The campaign gained momentum through a partnership with HomeAid Colorado, a nonprofit provider of housing and services for Coloradans experiencing homelessness.
Meritage Homes next stepped in as volunteer builder captain of the project, managing the construction of the facility and assisting in securing trade partners to provide in-kind labor, materials and services.
Hope House expects to open the doors to its new facility in early 2018.
