Over winter break, a family in Denver started Denver Candle Company, a local company making homemade, hand poured, small batch candles. The business idea began with Kimber challenging her kids to spend time away from social media so they could impact a local charitable organization with their time instead. They chose to make homemade candles, a new and fun experiment for all of them. Daughter Julia found Hope House Colorado and wanted to focus efforts on supporting teen moms with the first batch! Julia and her brother Jackson spent time making the candles while older brother Christian and their dad Craig made deliveries and picked up more supplies to fulfill all the unexpected orders. For their first large batch, the family raised over $400, with 100% of proceeds benefiting charity.
Thank you so much for supporting our teen moms! We encourage you to check out their candles as they continue to focus their efforts on helping others. Shop their candles now, all proceeds benefit Hope House Colorado!
