Delaney began at Hope House as a residential advisor in September 2025. She is pursuing her master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Denver and has a bachelor’s degree in political science from San Diego State University. Delaney was previously the program director of child advocacy for the third-largest domestic violence shelter in the country. She additionally has interned for the New Mexico State Legislature, the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Victim Assistance Program. She specializes in trauma-informed care and working with survivors of violent crimes. She is a New Mexico native and moved to Colorado in January 2025. She loves hiking, fitness, traveling, cooking and spending time with her Labrador, Forrest.
