Kassandra has a bachelor’s degree in individual and community support systems from Metropolitan State University, a program that combines education, human services and counseling. She is pursuing a master’s degree in social work. A Hope House alumna, she graduated in 2018. She worked at Jefferson County Head Start for four years, supporting children who experienced high levels of trauma and those with special needs. Previously, she served as a unit coordinator for a Level 4 NICU in Denver.
She is passionate about working alongside moms to help them meet their children’s educational goals in ways that best serve their families. She is especially committed to encouraging and empowering teen mothers to pursue their goals and define their own paths, regardless of the circumstances that brought them there.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, coaching her girls’ sports teams, and being with nearby family.
