Sam Thomson joined the Hope House staff in April 2025. Sam earned her BA in English at Lees-McRea College in North Carolina where she played lacrosse. After graduating and returning home to Colorado in 2020, she started writing grants to aid in the development of the electric vehicle charging network across America. She transitioned to a position as an early childhood development educator which reignited her passion for children and helping others. After two years as a teacher, she turned her attention to helping moms and their families in their homes. Sam is so excited to be able to bring her grant writing skills and passion for helping others into this position. In her free time, Sam loves reading, trying new foods and spending time with her friends and family.
