Social Media Toolkit: Hope House 5K & Fun Run
We could not do what we do at Hope House without our amazing community of supporters. In fact, with your help, we will serve 265 teen moms and 400 children this year!
Together we are changing the future for two generations, and we encourage you to share your impact at Hope House with your own communities. How? It’s easy… and it will help you gain greater visibility in your own networks and increase your social media footprint at the same time. The sample posts listed below are designed to serve as a guide when writing social media platform posts. Feel free to modify to reflect your organization’s brand.
Be sure to find our social media platforms and like us!
Step 1. Access Great Photos and Videos
Hope House can provide high quality photos and videos for you.

Hope House 5K & Fun Run Photos (the sidebar to the right will be updated after May 4th with photos and videos from the 2024 event).
If you choose to take your own pictures and videos, here are a few tips:
Photos: Take multiple posed or candid shots of your employees at the 5K & Fun Run. Including Hope House signs in the background strengthens your message. Selfies are also fun – or a picture with a Hope House teen mom can be powerful!Videos: Short shots are best, and we recommend capping your video at 30 seconds. Ask an employee to share why your company supports Hope House or the community in general – the park makes great background for your video!
Step 2. Create Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Posts
Share posts on your social media platforms that demonstrate how you are making a difference in the local community through your support of Hope House. Sample posts for a variety of platforms are provided for your use. Please use #hopehouse5kfunrun, #empoweringteenmoms and #hopehousecolorado in all of your posts!
Sample social media post options are provided below. Feel free to use them word for word or just in part. Or come up with your own! Be sure to include a great photo or video – and please be sure to tag Hope House so we can share your posts, too Hope House handles:
