Emma started at Hope House in August 2023. A graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Emma has a passion for empowering and supporting women all over the world. She has worked and volunteered in many different contexts with the opportunity to serve and build relationships with teenage girls. Prior to joining the Hope House team, Emma worked for the Global Survivor Network at International Justice Mission, where she utilized her passion for serving women who are experiencing injustice to create programs that provide sustainable solutions for survivors of human-trafficking. In addition, through her time working with young girls in Rwanda, Africa, she learned the power of intentional relationships that oftentimes lead to transformational growth, in safe environments. Emma is very grateful to spend her time seeking to serve and love others just as Christ has loved us, and to fight for change and transformation for teen moms! A Colorado girl at heart, Emma enjoys all things outdoors, exploring mountain lakes, reading a good book in a hammock, or drinking a delicious cup of coffee with friends.
